The ‘Save The Ocean’ collaboration with Fabien Cousteau, the grandson of famous underwater conservationist Jacques Cousteau has been ongoing since 2018. Just like in the past, a percentage of proceeds from the sales of these new watches would go towards the Fabien Cousteau Ocean Learning Center, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of ways to protect ocean habitats and marine life. The two featured Seiko watch models remain the same as the previous ‘Save The Ocean’ models, SRPF77 King Turtle and SRPF79 King Samurai. Since the SRPF77 is based on the King Turtle model, you can expect the usual stainless steel 45mm turtle watch bands case with brushed & polished finish, along with the crown at 4 o’clock. The silicon strap that comes with the SRPF77 comes in the same dark blue color that was used on the dial.
